We were taken into the computer suite opposite the class where I, and my partner Sly put our photo shop skills into practice. We began by Google searching images of other r n b/hip hop magazines. We wanted to see what was common in the magazines to ensure our magazine would meet the standards of music lovers.
We created a A4 sized front cover in photo shop and make template sectioning where various parts of the magazine would go. We bordered the spaces and labeled them, "title", "strap-line", "main image", and so on. We then opened the images we had taken from the previous lesson and cropped, edited and sized them. However, we had difficulties choosing the best picture for our magazine so decided to leave it to last. We chose a color scheme being a black background with gold and/or white writing.
