Today I did a little extra work to make the work I do in the lesson tomorrow slightly easier and faster. I copied two photos from the internet, one of a microphone and one of a set of headphones, and gave them both a plain, light blue background, which will enable me to delete the entire background much easier when it comes to putting them onto our magazine cover, currently supporting a pink-and-black theme. In giving these two photos a new, complete background, I will be able to select that colour and erase it when on photoshop. Irritatingly, it's taken me several hours, as I've had to use the program "Paint", meaning I've painted over the backgrounds in a new colour.
Also today, I have researched some bar codes online, and made my own, also on "Paint". This includes the bars, numbers, issue number, month and price. Since our magazine is the same issue as the boys' magazine, but the girl's version, I expect they may want to use this same barcode for their magazine, which is fine by me. All three of these images are now on a USB data stick, to be taken into my lesson tomorrow.
